Hi there! We want to share our experience of being at the "Creating Own Design, As Own Brand" seminar by Majlis Rekabentuk Malaysia (MRM).
This seminar was for two days and the first day we had a group discussion till 10pm! Wow! It's been awhile since we got to meet so many other entrepreneurs and business owners!
They were from various age ranges. It was a great experience and we got to network with a lot of people in the business world. It was a room full of talented individuals.
The seminar helped us as a company to come together in learning and figuring out our next step for the company. We learned a lot about the importance of great design in terms of creating our own brand.
There was also a small exhibition about designs that have managed to win the Malaysia Good Design Award. These packages of products were created with the intent of attractive the consumer and easing the usage of the product. Some of the handcrafted designs managed to marry traditional handcrafts with modern designs.
There were also rows of tables for the business owners and entrepreneurs to display their products for all to see. Seeing the variety of products displayed gave a sense of amazement and pride in everyone's workmanship.
The talks were very informative in helping us redirect and reshape our focus for the direction of the company in the near and far future. We got to meet a lot of big names in the design industry.
The best part was the experience and friends we made along the way. The pride and hope of these business owners resonated well with the Malasa Gula Melaka team and we hope to bring this passion through to our service, products and also our design.
